POSITION OVERVIEW As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our automotive sales website. Youll collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to create scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that enhance user experience and support our growing customer base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, test, and deploy robust backend services and APIs for automotive inventory management, user accounts, and transaction processing. Design and optimize database schemas and queries to handle large volumes of vehicle listings and user data efficiently. Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, vehicle history reports, and dealership management systems. Implement security best practices to safeguard user data and prevent unauthorized access. Monitor and improve application performance and scalability. Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless data flow and UI responsiveness. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and agile development processes.

QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, preferably in e-commerce or automotive sectors. Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Node.js. Experience with RESTful API design and development. Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Knowledge of security principles, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
