We are launching people to the Moon and Mars. If you want to be part of this amazing mission and enjoy working in a great team environment, we would love to have you as part of our team that is making history, today. It takes big ideas and determination to take NASA's vision and make it reality. That's what we do every day.

The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.

We are seeking an experienced Software Project Lead with a robust Information Technology (IT) and Software Development background to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical point of contact for the software development efforts within the Command-and-Control Project Management Office.  This role is responsible for leading cross-functional software teams, ensuring alignment with mission-critical objectives, and delivering high-quality software solutions that support NASA's command-and-control infrastructure and supports the associated assigned Command-and-Control Project Manager.  The candidate should be familiar with and understand the product lifecycle phases from initiation through delivery.  We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Software Project Lead to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies.

Stakeholder Communication - Serve as the primary interface between software teams, project leadership and the Integrated Product Team (IPT). Provide regular status updates, technical briefings, and documentation to stakeholders.

Technical Oversight - Provide technical direction and guidance to the subsystem software developers.  Define and manage their detailed tasks throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Compliance and Documentation - Ensure all GSE software deliverables meet NASA's safety, security, and documentation standards.

Risk and Issue Management - Identify project risks and issues early, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate as necessary to ensure project continuity.

Join us in shaping the future of space exploration while developing cutting-edge systems that push the boundaries of technology and teamwork.
