Overview This position can be located in our Chicago, IL or Washington, DC offices only. Position Summary: The National Association of REALTORS (NAR) is seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead the growth and promotion of its education portfolio encompassing professional credentials, designations, and live courses for members nationwide. This high-impact role will oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, revenue-generating programs, and member-focused events that drive enrollment and deepen engagement. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization and may manage one or more direct reports. The ideal candidate brings expertise in digital marketing, analytics, event strategy, and revenue generation, along with a passion for empowering NAR members through education. Marketing Strategy & Revenue Growth

Drive measurable revenue through strategic marketing initiatives that increase course enrollment and educational product sales.

Develop and implement lead generation, upselling, and cross-selling strategies with defined monthly targets and conversion rate optimization goals.

Lead multi-channel campaigns that drive enrollment, increase product sales, and grow member lifetime value.

Lead creative content development – including messaging, visuals, videos, and social media – to support campaign execution and audience engagement.

Analytics & Campaign Optimization

Develop and maintain KPI dashboards tracking Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), MQLs, SQLs, ROMI, and channel-specific ROI.

Use behavioral segmentation and predictive analytics to forecast trends, identify at-risk audiences, and shape retention strategies.

Implement attribution modeling to assess revenue impact by channel and inform marketing budget optimization.

Use behavioral data and segmentation to inform strategic marketing decisions, resource allocation, personalize messaging, and accelerate conversions.

Execute multivariate testing on website user experience, implementing conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to increase online course purchases.

Design and execute A/B testing protocols for all marketing campaigns, including email campaigns, landing pages, ad creative, and pricing strategies to continuously improve conversion rates.

Manage market pilots for new offerings to validate demand before full-scale roll-out and optimize performance.

Event and Campaign Management

Oversee digital marketing, content calendars, newsletters, websites, paid media, and social campaigns.

Manage paid media strategy and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-impact results with strong ROAS performance.

Lead the marketing and execution of NAR's education presence at industry events and tradeshows, with established lead capture and engagement goals.

Manage production timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure timely and high-ROI execution.

Leadership & Collaboration

Serve as marketing lead across cross-functional teams and external partners.

Mentor junior team members and contractors as applicable.

Align marketing activities with NAR's broader strategic goals and member engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

6-8 years of progressive experience in marketing and event management, preferably within a membership-based, nonprofit, or professional development organization.

Proven ability to generate revenue through data-informed marketing initiatives with demonstrable ROI.

Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, content, and funnel management.

Experience with A/B testing and analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).

Strong project management skills; ability to balance long-term strategy with day-to-day execution.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with marketing platforms (e.g., email automation, CMS, social media schedulers); familiarity with Iterable, Workfront, or CRM tools like Salesforce/HubSpot is a plus.

Experience managing budgets, vendors, and/or direct reports.

Willingness to travel up to 20% for events and industry meetings.

Compensation:

$105,000-$140,000, depending on office location. NAR provides comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance.
