Responsibilities
Handle high-end, complex financing transactions for both borrowers and lenders, providing a holistic view of the debt finance landscape. Draft and negotiate a broad range of documents, including collateral agreements, disclosure schedules, loan amendments, and other critical transaction documents. Focus on asset-based loans, structured financing, securitizations, and warehouse loans. Manage transactions from inception to closing, coordinating with internal teams and external counsel to ensure seamless execution. Qualifications
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school. Active membership in the
Washington, DC Bar
(or ability to waive in). A minimum of
5 years of legal experience
in debt finance within a large law firm setting. Demonstrated experience with
asset-based loans, structured financing, and/or securitizations . Preferred Skills
Experience representing both borrowers and lenders in sophisticated debt financing deals. Exceptional
project management
and drafting skills, with a keen eye for detail. A strong background in a specific niche within debt finance, such as
warehouse loans . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to lead client-facing interactions.
