Senior Engineering Manager - Platform Rippling seeks a Senior Engineering Manager - Platform to lead the Object Platform charter, overseeing ZObjects, Custom Apps, and Application Platform initiatives. Lead a team of passionate software engineers focused on ownership and impact Set vision and technical strategy to drive meaningful business outcomes Ensure successful adoption of the platform by engineering teams building our next generation of products and cloud offerings Establish and maintain engineering processes that enable rapid delivery Cultivate a culture of engineering excellence and operational efficiency Grow, educate, and retain a high-delivery cadence team in an agile environment Ensure your team ships high-quality products with velocity Be hands-on in technical architecture and reviews; provide technical leadership and be accountable for technical decisions Partner with engineers, product, design, and cross-functional leaders to shape, sequence, and lead engineering work Maintain a holistic view across engineering and product to drive strategy Take on product management considerations when needed Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of engineering experience delivering impactful products Minimum 4 years of experience building and managing high-performing engineering teams Hands-on experience with distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-based SaaS (AWS or similar) Proven ability to lead and execute large, complex technical initiatives Experience turning ideas into impactful products Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments Proficiency in recruiting, organizing, and motivating teams Strong product intuition and experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams Additional Information Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance.
