Overview The Associate Vice President, Commercial Enablement, Animal Health IT, is accountable for all aspects of Animal Health Sales and Marketing technology initiatives, including global commercial stakeholder management, demand management and prioritization, business case development, solutions architecture and design, platform roadmap development, solutions delivery and, ultimately, system adoption, scaling and business outcome realization across all markets worldwide.

The Global Commercial IT Leader will set and achieve business value realization targets across technology-enabled commercial initiatives including Global Web Site redesign and management, Customer Care, Customer Onboarding, eLearning, Pet Owner Engagement, Field Effectiveness, Remote Customer Engagement, Multi-channel Digital Marketing, Lead Generation and Management, Pricing and Rebates Management, and Commercial Data and Analytics Services. The role includes developing and driving the Global CRM Harmonization initiative and crafting commercial technology integration strategies for the Animal Health Intelligence business and potential future acquisitions. The Animal Health Global Commercial IT Leader will collaborate with global IT leaders across Data and Application Architecture, Networking, Security, Risk Management, Cloud Computing, SAP, eCommerce and other disciplines. The successful candidate will work in a consultative capacity with General Managers, Marketing and Sales leaders worldwide to qualify and prioritize demand, develop market-tailored global solutions, provide post-installation hyper-care, and drive technology adoption and business value realization. The role will staff, develop and inspire a global team with deep expertise in Sales and Marketing technologies, business processes, challenges and solutions. The selected candidate will participate on the Chief Commercial Officer’s extended leadership team. The position reports to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Animal Health. Primary Responsibilities

Represent Global IT priorities and align them with the Animal Health business strategy as part of the AH Enterprise Priority Executive Committee. Co-create Global Commercial Digital strategy as part of the Chief Commercial Officer’s leadership team. Develop and execute commercial IT strategies to digitally enable and accelerate Sales and Marketing objectives—revenue, market share, profitability, customer engagement and demand generation, brand awareness and reputation. Manage and prioritize global demand for commercial platforms and services. Develop business cases and secure capital and operating funds to support execution. Create, communicate and execute clear commercial IT solution roadmaps. Develop and deliver efficient, reusable component application and data architectures with the Chief Technology Office (CTO). Collaborate with global IT infrastructure teams to ensure compliance, security and architectural alignment with company standards. Establish and execute market launch timelines aligned with commercial partner objectives and market readiness evaluations. Develop and deliver market enablement tools and capabilities to assure rapid and effective market adoption of delivered technologies. Design and deliver post-installation hyper-care services to sustain delivered solutions. Create, manage and report key transactional and financial success metrics for delivered platforms and services. Identify, prototype and evaluate new innovations in the commercial space with key business partners. Recruit, develop and inspire top talent. Required: Bachelor’s degree in information technology/science Preferred: MS or MBA Required Experience and Skills

20 years of IT leadership with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role in a commercial, Sales and Marketing domain Track record of successful global B2C and B2B commercial digital initiatives including CRM, Call Center systems, onboarding, eLearning, Omni-channel digital marketing, eCommerce, social media, pricing and rebates management, and analytics Experience defining and executing global commercial business process and system harmonization, including enterprise website consolidation and Global Sales Force Effectiveness Exemplary senior executive communication, influence and change management skills Proven ability to manage and prioritize global demand for technology solutions Successful development and presentation of financial business cases for technology programs Experience leading within an Agile Scrum delivery methodology Successful introduction of new technologies such as cloud computing, AI, and machine learning Demonstrable success in driving market adoption of delivered systems and leading change management/market enablement initiatives Strong program management skills with the ability to execute complex cross-functional programs against aggressive timelines Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers Excellent written and verbal communication skills Executive presence with ability to gain support for large-scale enterprise IT initiatives Experience building, developing and mentoring diverse teams Commitment to an inclusive culture where all individuals can succeed as their authentic selves US and Puerto Rico Residents Only: Our company is committed to inclusion and providing accommodations during the application process if needed.
