Travel We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and CT scans, in a fast-paced environment such as a Level I or Level II trauma center. The X-ray Technician will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care while ensuring safety and adherence to aseptic techniques.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and PET scans, as ordered by physicians. Ensure the proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure. Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning correctly; report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with medical staff in the emergency room and other departments to facilitate timely diagnostic evaluations. Adhere to safety protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures. Document patient information accurately, including medical history and imaging results, using medical terminology appropriately. Assist in educating patients about the imaging process and address any concerns they may have. Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and participate in ongoing training as required.
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program. Certification as an X-ray Technician; ARRT certification preferred. Experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center is highly desirable. Proficiency in performing CT scans is a plus. Strong knowledge of human physiology and medical terminology. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, particularly in emergency situations. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professionalism at all times. Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night 4x10-Hour (20:00 - 06:30)
