As the CFO, you will oversee all aspects of our company’s financial success. You will analyze our financial strengths and weaknesses, take on risk management, ensure sufficient cash flow, and research and recommend investment strategies. Ultimately, your goal is to ensure the company’s financial well-being. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of corporate finances and risk management. Responsibilities: Cash & Financial Operations: Manage cash processes, bank accounts, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP) and deposits. Maintain and improve cash flow visibility and financial efficiency. Forecasting & Budgeting: Forecast store-level Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, including revenue, gross margins,and operating expenses. Set annual and quarterly budgets for stores, inventory management, and logistics. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee and support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Interact regularly with senior management to monitor financial performance versus budget. Provide monthly updates and presentations to the Board of Directors. Compliance & Tax: Liaise with the corporate accounting firm to ensure accurate tax filings and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with the finance team in the Delhi, India office for cross-border coordination and consolidated reporting. Leadership & Strategic Contribution: Report directly to the President and CEO on all financial matters. Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team to support strategic planning and financial health. Contribute to long-term business decisions and financial forecasting with the opportunity to grow into the CFO role. Update the Board of Directors every month Interact with the senior team to monitor financial performance versus the budget Education & Certification CPA with at least 5 years of professional experience Experience Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in financial management or controller roles Strong experience managing QuickBooks and financial spreadsheets Experience working with inventory, retail, or logistics operations. Experience working in retail is preferred.
