Job Description Your Career
As a Senior Software Engineer in test on our Prisma Access Cloud Service team, you will design, develop, and deliver innovative technologies. You will build, automate, and run performance testing scenarios for our products in virtualized environments.
We seek highly technical individuals eager to gain hands-on experience with networking technologies. You will collaborate with development and product management teams, testing and presenting results to identify new approaches.
You will participate in design discussions and influence the future direction of our software.
You will ensure product quality through thorough testing, identifying risks, bugs, or issues, and providing feedback. You enjoy troubleshooting within code, seeking issues, and suggesting improvements.
Prisma Access extends our security platform's protection, operationalized via a cloud-based infrastructure leveraging public and private cloud technologies to serve cloud services, remote networks, and mobile users.
Your Impact
Design, develop, and execute test automation for our security platform as part of Prisma Access Cloud Service
Create testing tools and automation scripts
Improve testing processes
Report bugs and collaborate with development to resolve issues
Apply creative testing approaches to ensure high product quality
Participate in rigorous testing for specifications, and assist with testing methods and tools
Work on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure to automate cloud orchestration
Qualifications
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python or Go
Experience with networking protocols like IPSec, BGP, L3 VPNs, SD-WAN, DHCP, TCP, UDP, SSL
Advanced experience with REST API-driven automation using Python or Go
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with databases like MySQL, BigQuery, Redis, Zookeeper, Neo4j
Knowledge of Linux, virtualization (Esxi), Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
Minimum 5 years of experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military experience
