Responsibilities
We seek an experienced, full-time attorney with extraordinary compassion, organizational, and communication skills to: Design, draft, and implement estate and elder law plans. Strategize and prosecute ABD Medicaid and VA Aid & Attendance benefits applications. Provide outstanding customer service to clients. The Estate and Elder Law Planning Attorney will work closely with the managing partner to develop estate and asset protection strategies, directly collaborate with clients to customize their plans, oversee a staff of paralegals and support personnel, and ensure the department meets business goals. The role also involves supervising legal assistants, coordinating paralegal hiring, and managing substantial administrative responsibilities. Qualifications
Virginia State Bar admission; Maryland and District Bar admissions are a plus. 2–4 years’ experience in estate planning and/or elder law. Exceptional communication, compassion, and empathy skills. Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong critical thinking. Ability to prioritize, organize, meet deadlines, and work independently. Confidence, tenacity, diplomacy, and discretion. Commitment to teamwork, patience, and a sense of humor. Compensation
$95,000+ per year.
