Project Manager
located in the East Coast region, working remotely. This position is a part-time temporary role with potential for extension to full-time. What You'll Do We seek an experienced technical project manager with a proven track record of managing multiple development projects in a fast-paced, matrix environment. Prior experience in customer-facing roles and a strong background in life sciences are required. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact human health alongside our team of scientists and data specialists. Day-to-Day Responsibilities include: Lead and manage 10-15 concurrent scientific projects, ensuring timely delivery of client objectives. Adapt project management methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Agile) to project needs, balancing scientific rigor with flexibility. Create detailed project plans with milestones, timelines, and deliverables aligned with client and company goals. Act as the main contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships through effective communication and expectation management. Provide strategic leadership to project teams, including scientists, bioinformaticians, and data analysts. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and resource allocation. Translate complex scientific concepts into clear insights for technical and non-technical audiences. Conduct regular project reviews, monitor progress, and identify risks and opportunities. Foster a collaborative and communicative team environment. Optimize workflows and improve efficiency while maintaining high standards. Maintain knowledge of relevant scientific trends to guide project direction and client interactions. Ensure projects stay within budget and timelines, updating on scope changes or challenges.
