What Were Looking For: IMS is seeking a talented Fullstack Magento Developer to design, develop, and maintain our cutting-edge e-commerce websites. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including creating custom themes, developing modules, and integrating third-party services. You need to be knowledgeable about e-commerce best practices and performance optimization. Additionally, experience with API integrations and version control systems like Git will make you a great candidate for this position.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in eCommerce development.
Proven track record as a Magento Developer, with portfolio examples of successfully launched eCommerce websites.
Proficiency in PHP, specifically focused on the Magento 2.x framework for both front-end and back-end development.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services to seamlessly integrate Magento with third-party platforms and systems.
Experience with MySQL database structure for speedy and efficient data encoding
In-depth understanding of Magento's code structure, architecture, and data flow, as well as UI/UX principles for eCommerce.
Solid grasp of performance optimization techniques specific to Magento, such as caching, indexing, and code compilation.
Experience with version control systems like Git, promoting best practices in collaborative code development.
Strong analytical skills for debugging and problem-solving, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable solutions.
Ability to work both independently and in a team-centric, agile development environment, adapting to evolving project requirements.
Exceptional communication skills, ideal for clear and effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain Magento e-commerce websites, plugins, and themes to meet client requirements, emphasizing performance and security.
Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and designers to understand specific e-commerce objectives and translate them into effective solutions.
Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and quality assurance to ensure Magento websites are error-free and perform seamlessly.
Stay updated on the latest Magento features, extensions, and best practices, incorporating them into projects to deliver modern and innovative e-commerce solutions.
Optimize Magento websites for maximum performance, search engine optimization (SEO), and user experience, following best practices and coding standards.
Actively participate in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to enhance code quality and maintain development standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve Magento functionality and integration issues, ensuring a smooth and reliable e-commerce experience for users.
