Senior Director of Treasury

Overview

The Senior Director of Treasury will oversee all treasury operations, focusing on fund cash management, fund treasury, and fund finance for evergreen funds and private market investments. This leadership role demands extensive expertise in private investments, alternative investments, and secondary investments, coupled with a strategic vision to optimize liquidity, manage risks, and support the firm’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees fund cash management, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and capital allocation for evergreen funds and private market investments.
• Leads fund treasury operations, managing banking relationships, fund financing, and foreign exchange strategies.
• Directs fund finance activities, including debt facilities, capital calls, and distribution processes to ensure operational efficiency.
• Provides strategic oversight for treasury functions related to private investments, alternative investments, and secondary investments.
• Develops and implements risk management strategies to mitigate financial, operational, and market risks.
• Builds and leads a high-performing treasury team, fostering collaboration and excellence.
• Collaborates with investment teams, legal, compliance, and external stakeholders to align treasury operations with firm goals.
• Drives innovation in treasury processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and reporting.

Qualifications

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or CFA is preferred.
• Possesses 10+ years of experience in treasury, fund finance, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Demonstrates proven expertise in fund cash management, fund treasury, and fund finance within private markets.
• Exhibits deep knowledge of private investments, alternative investments, and secondary investments.
• Brings experience with evergreen funds or similar fund structures (highly desirable).
• Shows a strong understanding of financial instruments, banking operations, and risk management.
• Displays exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in treasury management systems and financial modeling tools.
