We are currently seeking a qualified Cloud Engineer to join our team. The Cloud Engineer will support our SaaS platform on AWS. The ideal candidate will own deployments end-to-end, debug production issues under pressure, and lead large-scale environment and data migrations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and others.
  • Implement best practices for cloud architecture, cost optimization, and performance.
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Salt and more
  • Implement IAM policies, security groups, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Automate infrastructure tasks using Python, Java, or Ruby.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
  • Maintain and optimize test automation frameworks.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in cloud infrastructure.
  • Optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Deep expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in networking, service meshes (e.g., Istio), and streaming/messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems design and operation.
  • Experience with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, Concourse, AWS CodeDeploy, CircleCI).
  • Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, DataDog, New Relic).
  • Proficient in Python or Golang.
  • Linux kernel tuning and network debugging skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments
