As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, processes, and operations; translate business requirements into technical specifications; and ensure that implemented technology solutions meet these requirements. Your collaboration with technical teams will be crucial in designing and delivering effective system architecture solutions. Responsibilities
Leading engagement delivery and managing client relationships on a daily basis. Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met. Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements. Leading large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and strong business acumen; staying current with business and industry trends relevant to the client’s business. Consistently delivering high-quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping stakeholders informed of developments and outcomes. Building and maintaining relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration and trust. Effectively leading and motivating diverse teams; providing coaching and fostering an innovative, inclusive environment while mentoring junior consultants. Identifying and generating new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively assessing client needs; cultivating long-term client relationships across EY practices. Skills and Attributes
Strong technical skills in application functional design and defining technology business requirements. Ability to analyze and map technology cost-benefit scenarios. Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Liaising with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred. Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience. At least five (5) years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) within a functional consulting or system configuration role. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills. Proven experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project-based team members. Knowledge of best practices in supply chain, with benchmarking and advisory experience related to supply chain-specific technology functions. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies. Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40-60%. Experience in conducting technology cost-benefit analyses and familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks. Skills in training design and delivery. Nice to Have
Prior consulting industry experience. SAP certification(s). Experience as a workstream/team lead for manufacturing with SAP. Experience with at least two full lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) focusing on SAP Production Planning (PP). Experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Experience integrating SAP PP with MES and SAP Quality Management (QM). Hands-on SAP system configuration in PP and experience designing custom RICEF solutions and writing functional specifications. Experience writing and executing test scripts and delivering end-user training materials. Knowledge of SAP PP integration with FICO, EWM, PPDS, PLM, MDM, MM, and related modules. Voice of manufacturing operations knowledge, preferably in complex industrial equipment and assembly lines, and familiarity with Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order models.
