In this role, you will:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
Translate business needs into clear, concise functional and technical requirements for software development teams.
Act as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring alignment on scope, priorities, and deliverables.
Develop user stories, process flows, and use cases to support application design and development.
Participate in system design discussions and provide input based on insurance industry knowledge.
Support QA and UAT by reviewing test cases, validating requirements, and assisting in defect resolution.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with business and technical stakeholders.
Ensure traceability of requirements through the project lifecycle.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working on software development projects.
Strong background in the insurance industry (P&C, Life, Health, or related areas).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.
Strong documentation skills (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, etc.).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Local candidates near La Loma, CA, are required to be on-site. Remote candidates must be available on-site for the first 2 weeks, after which the role will transition to remote.
