Join us at Amazon Fresh Grocery as a Demand Planner The Amazon Fresh Grocery team is excited to welcome a Demand Planner to our dynamic team, based in Seattle WA, New York, Arlington VA, Nashville TN, Austin TX, Chicago IL, or Santa Monica CA. As a Demand Planner, you will own analytical forecasting and demand planning. The successful candidate will have a passion for analytics, tactical process development, and a willingness to move fast and experiment often. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, and be motivated by a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should be able to think big and dive deep into problems. Strong candidates will be self-starters, highly organized, and possess strong data extraction and analytical capabilities. You will be expected to build scalable systems and processes that support business growth, working in parallel on tactical and strategic activities. Key Responsibilities Manage demand and forecast for your category and vendor network Collaborate with category, marketing, and finance teams to set demand plans aligning with top-line goals Critically inspect demand forecasts and challenge assumptions Review historical trends, analyze demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical models, and evaluate results Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements Traits for Success Communicate ideas clearly to stakeholders, including for financial approvals Define data requirements and metrics; strong analytical skills (Excel and SQL) Manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience with Excel 4+ years in supply chain, inventory management, or project management Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional/military experience Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of statistical inventory control principles Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean, or Six Sigma Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
