The Amazon Fresh Grocery team is excited to welcome an Instock Manager to our dynamic team, based in Seattle, WA, New York, NY, Arlington, VA, or Nashville, TN.

As an Instock Manager (ISM) within Amazon Fresh Grocery, you'll develop business plans and oversee supply chain and inventory management. Leading cross-functional initiatives, you'll drive improvements to enhance customer experience and reduce costs. Your leadership will span Online and In-Store channels.
To succeed, you should be comfortable using data to influence others and building scalable systems and processes to support business growth. This role offers the opportunity to operate in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, driving initiatives that improve sales, customer experience, and processes within retail and operations.
Success requires being a self-starter, highly organized, and possessing strong data analysis skills. We seek candidates with knowledge of business principles and retail experience, capable of leading and influencing teams in an ambiguous environment while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory availability and health, including instock levels, inventory planning, vendor operational improvements (efficiency, fill rates, lead time), forecasting, and waste reduction.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve customer experience and reduce costs.
- Perform complex business analysis to identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
- Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements affecting purchasing and vendor management workflows.
A Day in the Life
This role requires the Instock Manager to be on-site at least 5 days/week at one of our Amazon Fresh stores or offices.

Our mission is to perfect the grocery experience, from buying to vendor performance, optimizing DC operations, and nurturing key distributor relationships. The Grocery Retail Inbound Team (GRIT) drives Amazon Fresh Grocery's supply chain success, orchestrating the seamless flow of goods to ensure customer satisfaction.
We are involved in long-term planning of our DC topology, sourcing strategies, and vendor partnerships. Join GRIT to influence network planning, collaborate on innovative supply chain solutions, and optimize our supply chain with top manufacturers.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of Excel experience
- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management, or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional/military experience
- Experience with SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of statistical inventory control principles
- Experience with Python or similar scripting languages

Our compensation ranges from $66,000 to $141,100 annually, based on location and experience. Additional benefits and total compensation details are available on our website.
