Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  1. Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility.
  2. Work with modern web development technologies to improve customer workflows.
  3. Work with AWS technologies such as SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift, CloudWatch, Data Pipelines, and Kinesis.
  4. Write high-quality distributed system software.
  5. Perform development and maintenance of key system features.
  6. Drive best practices and engineering excellence.
  7. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software.
  8. Establish architectural principles, select design patterns, and mentor team members.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
