   Design and implement analytics architecture that bridges BI and data science capabilities.

   Develop key metrics that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

   Build intuitive self-service analytics tools and automated reporting solutions.
4. Cross-Functional Impact
   Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to drive data-driven decisions.

This role is critical in building the analytics foundation for Amazon's automotive business, combining technical expertise with strategic thinking to drive business growth.

About the team

Our newly formed team is on a mission to revolutionize how customers discover and shop for vehicles online, combining Amazon's customer-first approach with innovative automotive retail solutions. Join us in building this transformative business from the ground up.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 10+ years of professional or military experience
2. 5+ years of SQL experience
3. Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
4. Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
5. Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
6. Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
7. Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience with AWS technologies
2. Experience with statistical analytics and programming languages such as R, Python, Ruby, etc.
