Amazon Payment Products BR has the mission to launch and manage payments products that will drive affinity and affordability to our customers. This role is responsible for managing Payments Acceptance and Experience initiatives, to drive increase in payments performance while looking after the cost of payments working alongside internal and external stakeholders. This role is required to serve as a hands-on analyst, resolving escalations and managing Payments' partners and internal clients. It is critical that the candidate is able to successfully communicate internally across teams and externally with partners, both written and verbally. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter that can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. The candidate must be a fast learner, who can quickly absorb the nuances of Amazon's varied payment offerings as well as the behavior of Amazon's internal systems. The candidate needs to be analytical in their decision making, with the demonstrated ability to drive issues to completion and have a passion for supplying their clients with data.
Responsibilities
- Manage Payments Acceptance and Experience initiatives to improve payments performance while controlling cost of payments, working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a hands-on analyst, resolving escalations and managing Payments' partners and internal clients.
- Communicate effectively across teams and with external partners, both in writing and verbally.
- Be a fast learner who can operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision.
- Analyze data to inform decision making and drive issues to completion, with a focus on delivering value to clients.
Basic Qualifications
- Solid Program or project management experience
- Advanced to fluent in English
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
