Responsibilities

  • Drive operational excellence through physical and systemic process optimization, focusing on improving capacity, cost efficiency, AI utilization, quality metrics, and customer experience.
  • Serve as a crucial link between operations, technical, and business teams by managing escalations, conducting deep-dives, and implementing solutions to resolve operational barriers.
  • Develop and lead the project management function to support the Product Ops organization.

The RL Global Ops Process Leader is a forward-thinking and analytically adept leader who excels in executing process improvements to transform complex operational challenges while driving both immediate and long-term business impact. The role requires collaboration across functions and influencing a wide range of stakeholders, with strong business acumen and expertise in leveraging product operations to achieve growth within tight deadlines.

Key qualifications include building collaborative, long-term relationships with a holistic business perspective, knowledge of reverse supply chain operations, manufacturing models, and the consumer electronics product lifecycle. Strong judgment, relationship-building, and the ability to engage and negotiate with suppliers and senior leaders are essential.

Travel: Global travel up to 30% per year.

About The Team

The Amazon Devices Reverse Logistics team spans the globe (China, UK, EU, US including Kentucky, New Jersey, Virginia, Sunnyvale and Seattle). The team leadership consists of experienced Amazonians in the consumer electronics returns space. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of product or program management, or technology experience with a proven track record of executing the strategic vision
  • Experience in Operations and Business Management
  • Experience leading projects/initiatives across a matrix organization and driving toward consensus
  • Lean Manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven analytical / decision making and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree (MBA, M.A., M.S., or another post-graduate degree)
  • Experience converting insights into strategy and communicating complex ideas clearly and logically in written communication
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year to $206,000/year. Pay is based on market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
