AWS ISCaP is seeking an experienced, technology-driven professional to own, build, and run technology sourcing and operations. You will engage with multiple teams to drive plans and execution to satisfy the demanding needs of a high-growth industry, and you will own the launch and sustainment of new Power Module and Electromechanical products while managing geography expansions and contract manufacturing. You will develop sourcing strategies and action plans to support new product launches and ongoing product sustainment, collaborating with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Business teams to meet customer demand and drive cost, risk, and supply continuity improvements.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive new product introductions for Amazon Power Module and Component families (PSUs, Powershelves, Inverters, Power cables, Powershelf Controller PCBAs) by qualifying and securing multiple sub-tier component sources, driving engineering qualifications pre-launch, and ensuring supply chain resiliency to meet launch timing, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Partner with design, engineering, manufacturing teams and suppliers to implement robust product/configuration management processes and qualify alternate sources to guarantee supply availability at launch.
  • Matrix-manage team members from across functions to develop new product plans and sustaining processes; interact with Global Commodity Managers, Global Supply Managers, Technical PM, SQE, Supply Chain, DFX, Finance, and others as needed.
  • Represent ISCaP with product design teams; use production expertise to influence and negotiate for design-for-supply-chain.
  • Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, synthesize issues into clear messages, and present with confidence and clarity to team members and executives.
  • Drive visibility around transition planning events related to End of Marketing (EOM), End of Sales (EOS), and End of Production (EOP).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of sheet metal and/or thermal (fan, heatsink, liquid cooling) supply chain/manufacturing experience
  • 6+ years of experience in program, project, or product management, or leading a technical products implementation; or 4+ with advanced degree
  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience overseeing global project management teams
  • MBA or advanced degree in engineering, operations research, mathematics, or other quantitative disciplines
  • Excellent creative thinking skills for solving complex problems with no single clear answer
  • Strong program management skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams; excellent written and verbal communication

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year to $220,200/year, with variation based on location and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company; depending on the offered position, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total package.
