Delivery Driver for Spur Logistics - Delivering Amazon Packages

Full Time (4 days) & Part Time (3 days) positions available.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated locations within fifty miles of Charlotte, NC.
• Load and unload packages up to 50 pounds, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. (Hand trucks provided)
• Complete 150 - 199 stops in all weather conditions and manage the physical requirements of the job.
• Walk 6-8 miles a day during extended periods and move with a purpose.
• Climb several flights of stairs throughout the day.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with recipients.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues to management.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety.
• No CDL required for this position.
• Work environment can include all kinds of weather (rain, sun, cold, heat).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen.
• Must have a seven year clean driving record. No more than two marks on your driving record total (e.g., one speeding ticket and one accident).
• Must be in good physical shape to walk 5-7 miles during delivery day to deliver up to 190 stops per day and finish route safely in 10.5 hours.
• Must possess a great work ethic, attitude and be extremely reliable.
• Must be willing to work at least Saturday or Sunday on weekends.
• Drivers will work a 10.5 hour shift with a four day work week.
• Hours are day shift, typically 9:20am–7:45pm.
