CheckSammy is hiring: Warehouse Manager in Lakeland

Overview

Join to apply for the Warehouse Manager role at CheckSammy. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations and support our expanding logistics needs. The Warehouse Manager will oversee receipt, storage, management of team, schedules and dispatch of a wide range of goods. You will manage people, processes, and systems to ensure productivity targets are met and workplace health and safety requirements are adhered to. Experience in starting a warehouse from the ground up is a plus as this is a new location added to our warehouse operations.

Schedule

Two shifts: Monday–Friday 8am–4pm and Monday–Friday 4pm–12am.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control warehouse operations
• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff and shift leads
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Implement and manage warehouse KPIs
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Identify process improvements and cost-reduction strategies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory management
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Ability to lift and move items as needed (may require up to 50 lbs)
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA certification or safety training
• Forklift certification
