Overview
Warehouse Utility staff support customers by ensuring materials are received, verified, staged, stocked, and delivered to provide clean water and heating/cooling to our communities. The role emphasizes safe, efficient warehouse operations and delivering high-quality customer service.
Responsibilities
- Work cooperatively in a warehouse team to receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material to maintain inventory standards.
- Verify loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries.
- Properly load and unload materials from the truck and maintain inventory control.
- Operate the appropriate class of vehicle for the assignment and drive in various conditions (urban and construction settings).
- Deliver high quality customer service and professionalism.
What You Need To Succeed
- 21 years of age or older
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle class
- Class C – Vehicles 26,000 lbs or less gross weight
- Class B – Box truck with a combined vehicle weight of 26,001 lbs or more
- Clean driving record

Physical and Mental Requirements
- Attendance – must maintain scheduled days and hours, including onsite presence as required
- Physical capacities – lift up to 50 pounds frequently; sit/stand for extended periods; kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking
- Office equipment operation – standard office equipment; vision and manual dexterity
- Oral and written communication skills
- Mental capacities – detail-oriented, adaptable, cooperative, with strong problem-solving and time-management skills
Additional physical demands: bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 75 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws. Related experience may include Delivery Driver roles and DOT-regulated driving.
