Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
- Establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while maintaining donor confidentiality.
- Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
- Monitor donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality.
- Set up, disconnect, and operate the automated plasmapheresis machines.
- Disconnect and dispose of all contaminated disposable equipment.

- Maintain donor confidentiality and provide exceptional donor experience.
Occupational Demands
Work is performed in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and potentially infectious organisms. Protective equipment is required. The role involves standing for 6 to 8 hours per day, neck and waist bending/twisting for portions of the day, frequent hand and finger movements, fine motor tasks, walking up to 6–8 hours per day, and light lifting up to 50 lbs. Vision and hearing requirements apply as described, with ability to follow oral or written instructions.
