Overview
Join to apply for the Phlebotomist role at Labcorp. We are seeking a phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. Pay Range: $21.00 - $33.00 per hour. The final offer will be based on skills, relevant experience, degrees/certifications, internal equity, and market data.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm; additional hours and rotating Saturdays may be required. Work Location: 3331 Century Boulevard, Inglewood, CA 90301.

Training: Must be able to attend 2-week training in California. Ability to pass a color blindness test may be required.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Job Requirements
- Must have a valid California Phlebotomy License OR have an application filed with the California Department of Health at time of hire
- 1 year of phlebotomy experience is highly preferred
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual Spanish preferred
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to attend 2-week training in California
- Able to pass color blindness test
