Description

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
• The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• The PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• The PSR I demonstrates Leadership Behaviors, focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Under the supervision of the area manager, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Show organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
• Minimum of 6 months of experience.
• One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry skills required.
• Candidates should live within a 20-25 minute commute to the site.
• Shift: 7 am-4 pm, Monday-Friday, rotating Saturday 7 am-12 pm.
