Overview

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in North Dartmouth, MA 02747. This is a 3 months assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Location: North Dartmouth, MA 02747

Duration: 3 months Contract (possibilities of extension)

Shift: MON-Friday 7a-4:30p rotating Saturdays 7a-12p; MON-Friday 8:30a-5p rotating Saturdays 7a-12p; MON-Friday 9:30a-6p rotating Saturdays 7a-12p

Pay: $21/hr on W2

Responsibilities

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into health decisions.
• The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
• The PSR I maintains direct patient contact, creates an atmosphere of trust, explains procedures, and performs phlebotomy in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• The PSR I demonstrates leadership behaviors with a focus on process excellence and confidentiality/accuracy of patient information. Depending on business needs, assignments may include doctor\'s offices, patient service centers, or other sites.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.

Job Requirements

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
