Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is working with our client in Mount Kisco, NY to hire a Phlebotomist for their medical facility.
Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Mount Kisco, NY 10549
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Rotational Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
Travel Requirement: Occasional travel to Katonah or Yorktown draw stations; may be required to travel midday to a second site for coverage
Pay Range: $22-24.34/hour
Responsibilities Include:

Perform venipunctures and capillary collections on patients of all ages, including pediatric through geriatric.

Verify patient identity using at least two patient identifiers per SOP.

Ensure accurate labeling and barcoding of specimens.

Centrifuge, aliquot (pour off), and prepare lab specimens for transport.

Accurately accession specimens into the laboratory system.

Prepare packing lists and package specimens at the correct temperature according to guidelines.

Maintain compliance with all Phlebotomy SOPs, OSHA safety guidelines, and PPE protocols .

Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients to ease anxiety during collection procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and stored.

Provide occasional coverage at nearby draw stations (Katonah, Yorktown) as needed.

Support operational flow between multiple draw stations within a single shift if required.
Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Phlebotomy Certification (preferred)

Ability to draw blood from patients of all ages

Strong attention to detail and adherence to specimen handling protocols

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
