Responsibilities

• Operate a Reach Lift to move products within the warehouse, designed for narrow aisles and high shelving.
• Report to the shipping office at the beginning of each shift for the daily assignment, vehicle inspection sheet, and replenishment discrepancies sheet.
• Replenish pick slots using the view request screen; if no requests exist, use the manual replenish screen to fill empty or nearly empty slots.
• Perform knockdowns for selectors when needed.
• Maintain correct counts and log any discrepancies in inventory.
• Verify that the correct product is placed in the appropriate pick location.
• Cut and remove shrink wrap from all knockdowns.
• Remove empty pallets from pick locations and aisles; separate good, bad, and blue pallets and stage them in the pallet staging area.
• Keep areas clean and free of debris; operate the lift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Park and recharge the lift in its designated spot at the end of the shift.
• Inform a lead, supervisor, or manager of any potential safety violations or policy violations.
• Perform duties in accordance with HACCP and SQF policies and procedures as appropriate for location.

Qualifications

• Understanding of safety guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of backup functions and RF systems.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Good judgment for times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Physical Environment / Demands

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
• Exposure to temperatures ranging from -20 to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operation and 37 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery Operation.
• Repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements for maintenance and service procedures.
• Ability to work with hands and arms overhead and to work in or under equipment.
• Manual dexterity, coordination, and balance to operate equipment; close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focused vision.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly rate: $22.25/hr + production incentives
• Shift differential: +$1.25/hr for evenings
• Work schedule: 5-day, overnight shift starting at 12 am (Tuesday–Saturday)
