Responsibilities
- Extend a warm, friendly welcome to arriving guests.
- Carefully and efficiently park, secure, and retrieve vehicles.
- Maintain the cleanliness of hotel public guest areas and public restrooms.
- Assist with washing, folding and stocking linens.
- Deliver guest-requested amenities.
- Respond helpfully to guest questions about the property, getting around and nearby happenings.
- Graciously assist guests with issues arising out of the parking experience.

- Must have a Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Guest Services
- Responsible for completing required brand training.
- Contributes to the achievement of hotel goals for guest satisfaction.
- Provides information and assistance to hotel guests regarding the local area and hotel amenities.
Operations
- Performs daily cleaning of all public areas and back of house and maintains adequate stock of supplies.
- Reports maintenance issues located in guestrooms or public areas to maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment in housekeeping areas and on the houseman cart.
- Follows all hotel lost and found procedures.
- Ensures trash and debris are removed from the property and out of guests’ sight.
- Maintains elevator cleanliness, pool and fitness facility towel stock, and proper glassware sanitation.
- Communicates inventory or supply needs to Housekeeping for ordering.
- Assists with room attendant or laundry operations as needed.
- Completes special projects as required (carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, etc.).
- Follows hotel Do Not Disturb procedures.
- Maintains a well-stocked and maintained houseman cart.
- Reports maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate manager promptly.
- Supports cost control and loss prevention efforts as appropriate.
Safety and Security
- Identifies and reports safety hazards and security concerns; takes immediate action as needed.
- Remains vigilant and reports suspicious activity to ensure safety of guests and staff.
- Follows MSDS instructions and privacy standards for guest and associate information.
- Adheres to key control and emergency procedures as required.

- Manages time effectively to accomplish tasks and action plans.
- Adheres to attendance policies and punctuality.
- Maintains professional appearance and demeanor with guests, associates and vendors.
- Complies with brand standards and demonstrates respect, integrity and sound judgment in interactions.
Physical Demands
Regularly walk, use hands, reach, and talk or hear. May lift up to 20 pounds; occasionally more than 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Minimum Qualifications
- Prior experience related to the above duties is helpful but not required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
- Must have a clean driving record for insurance purposes.
- Must be neat, professional and well-groomed.
- Must possess good organization/time management skills.
- Must be dependable and reliable.
- Must be able to work with little supervision.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be in good physical condition with ability to push, pull, reach, stoop, and handle; lift up to 20 pounds (and more as required).
- Able to relate well to hotel guests and co-workers; able to work as part of a team; able to learn quickly; able to follow oral and written instructions.
