Visiting Angels Auburn & Gilford NH is hiring: Overnight Caregiver/LNA in Manche

Visiting Angels is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will provide physical care and emotional support to clients who may no longer be able to care for themselves. We offer overnight shifts in Auburn, Manchester, Salem, and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate dignity, patience, compassion, and respect while caring for clients and their property. Empathy and understanding are essential traits for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Home Assistance: Provide light housekeeping, run errands, assist with transportation, accompany clients to appointments, remind about medications, prepare meals, and support with daily living needs such as toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
2. Companionship: Offer companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities to stimulate and encourage them.

Requirements:

• High school diploma preferred
• Ability to complete a Criminal Background check
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Capability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Experience caring for seniors or disabled adults, professionally or personally
• Reliability and professionalism are crucial
• Enjoy helping others
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus
• LNA/CNA certification is a plus
• Comfortable using a smartphone for clocking in/out and documentation
