About the Role:
As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with organizing and directing warehouse operations, coordinating activities to ensure efficient utilization of warehouse resources and optimizing fulfillment flow. You will be a key stakeholder in building something from the ground up and have a tremendous impact as Hims & Hers grows. This role is based in Gilbert, Arizona, and will report to the Operations Manager.
You Will:
Be responsible for order processing, fulfillment (including picking and packing), warehouse operations, inventory and order tracking, quality control, and shipping preparation.
Be collaborative in nature, as an area manager work closely with other departmental managers, pharmacy staff and support partners outside the facility, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) and patient expectations are met.
Support a safety-first environment where team members are included in solutions and implementation.
Be a part of a cross-shift and departmental support system to efficiently cross-train and support where the most critical business needs arise.
Be responsible for troubleshooting and investigating errors or nonconformance to support inventory accuracy.
Manage the daily operations across a shift/department including measuring performance and attendance.
Ensure all new team members are properly trained, including delivery of staff training as needed.
You Have:
High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
Associate's Degree or higher (Preferred)
4-6 years of previous leadership and supervisory experience (Required)
Proactive and motivational customer-focused attitude to help set the tone for an energetic work environment.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong prioritization and time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
