Job Description

To perform clerical and patient care support by registering, ordering, collecting, processing, distributing clinical lab specimens and/or performing limited non-complex laboratory tests. All incumbents grandfathered into job requirements.

Education And Credentials

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of certified phlebotomy tech program required.
• Prior to and during employment in this position, must meet and maintain criteria as per the Fleet Safety Program.
• Data Entry Alpha Numeric (Hard Copy) required.
• NYS Drivers License upon hire required.
• All incumbents grandfathered into job requirements.

Experience

1 year of phlebotomy experience in a lab/hospital setting required.
