Job Description
Sr. Phlebotomy Technician — Buffalo, MN — Monday-Friday (Rotational Weekends), Shift 6:45am-8:30pm
The Tech, Patient Service – Sr assists the supervisor in day-to-day operations of the department. This position is responsible for the complete and continued functioning of the phlebotomy department in the absence of the Supervisor/Manager. The Diagnostic Technician performs and processes electrocardiograms and draws blood from adults and pediatric patients using appropriate techniques.
Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 / hour
Salary offers are based on factors including skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus compensation.

Qualifications
Required Work Experience
- Successful completion of a blood drawing educational program and written phlebotomy examination
- Completion of EKG educational program with basic knowledge of arrhythmia
- 3 years of progressive experience in EKG and phlebotomy
Preferred Work Experience
- A.D. preferred
- 1 year of prior experience in EKG or graduate of EKG technical/Medical Assistant program
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Standing at a minimum of 6 hours per day
Knowledge
- The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English
Education & Licenses
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- ASPT Certified EKG Technician (CET)
- Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT) – Required
