Schedule: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 4:30pm

Hourly Range: $21.00 - $22.50/hr (depending on experience)

Job Summary

Supports Clinical Research Coordinators by completing protocol-specific study goals, adhering to ICH, GCP, protocol, and site policies.

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Creating and maintaining patient charts for assigned studies.
  2. Preparing participant visits, ensuring all documents and materials are available and accurate.
  3. Maintaining inventory of study supplies.
  4. Completing data entry and resolving queries for CRFs timely.
  5. Assisting with assessments such as blood pressure and urine collection.
  6. Communicating with study participants and vendors.
  7. Supporting scheduling, copying, faxing, and other clerical tasks.
  8. Facilitating study monitoring visits.
  9. Performing daily delegated responsibilities.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills

  1. CA Medical Assistant Certification (Required); new grads welcome.
  2. Phlebotomy experience required; CPT certification highly preferred.
  3. Experience with EKG/ECG vital checks.
  4. Interest and knowledge of specific study indications.
  5. Excellent computer skills and familiarity with electronic equipment.
  6. Organizational skills and record maintenance.
  7. Ability to develop effective working relationships.
  8. Strong initiative and attention to detail.
  9. Calm and effective response in emergencies.
  10. Ability to interpret and apply guidelines.
  11. Clear oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions

  1. Indoor office environment.
  2. Physical requirements include sitting, typing, standing, walking.
  3. Light activity, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
  4. Reporting to work as scheduled is essential.
