Our client is looking for an on-site Warehouse Lead in a Production environment to join our team. Directly supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and address any issues that arise. Train new employees and provide ongoing support and development. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records and timely replenishment. Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory. Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods. Ensure efficient workflows and optimize space utilization. Manage shipping and receiving processes, coordinating with suppliers and customers. Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols. Identify and address potential safety hazards. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, management, and other departments. Prepare reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Assist in problem-solving and identifying areas for improvement. Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in warehouse operations, managing 1000+ SKUs in inventory, shipping and receiving Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehouse management principles and practices, inventory management. Location & Hours: 30324, 7:00- 3:00 Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Technical Skills: Strong background with ERP systems Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move items, and operate warehouse equipment.
