Overview

Piper Companies is seeking a Manual Tester for a technology driven organization in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina (NC) area. The Manual Tester will be responsible for providing manual testing of web applications to ensure they meet business requirements. The Manual Tester role is hybrid in Raleigh requiring 3 onsite days. The ideal candidate for the Manual Tester role will have end-to-end testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test scripts for the functionality, performance and security of the applications
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate testing results and risks
• Document defects and own issues to resolution
• Participate in Agile development processes

Requirements

• 2+ years professional UAT testing experience
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Strong SQL skills
• Familiarity and/or interest in automation
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering preferred or relevant work experience

Compensation

• $55,000 - $80,000 with full comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law

Location & Schedule

Location: Raleigh-Durham, NC area (hybrid on-site 3 days per week)
