Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled ATM Tester to join our QA/Testing team. The role involves end-to-end testing of ATM applications, hardware, and integrated banking systems to ensure secure, reliable, and seamless transactions for customers. The ideal candidate should have strong domain knowledge of ATMs, payment gateways, and financial transaction systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of ATM applications and related banking systems.
• Validate cash withdrawals, deposits, balance inquiries, fund transfers, and other ATM transactions.
• Test ATM hardware components such as card readers, cash dispensers, receipt printers, PIN pads, and screens.
• Execute test cases for ISO8583 messages, transaction switching, and EMV standards.
• Conduct defect tracking, reporting, and validation across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Perform system and user acceptance testing (UAT) for ATM projects.
• Ensure compliance with banking security, PCI-DSS, and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years in ATM or payment systems testing.
• Strong understanding of ISO8583 messages, EMV standards, and transaction switching systems.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Quality Center).
• Familiarity with automation testing tools for ATM testing (nice to have).
• Good knowledge of SQL for backend validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with NCR, Diebold, or Wincor ATMs.
• Exposure to payment gateways, POS systems, or Core Banking Systems.
• Knowledge of cryptography, key management, and security standards for ATM transactions.
