Overview

Akkodis is seeking an Automation Tester for a contract with a client in Nashville, TN. Candidates must have hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $64/hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks to validate software functionality.
• Execute automated test cases for regression, performance, and functional testing across various environments.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results and report defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain and update automation frameworks to support evolving application features and technologies.
• Participate in CI/CD processes, integrating automated tests into pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in automation testing and QA processes.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Pay Details and Benefits

Pay: $49.00 to $64.00 per hour. Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan. Paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave required by law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
