Genesis10 is hiring: Mainframe Tester in Addison

Overview

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mainframe Tester with our client in the financial industry located in Addison, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities

• Responsible owning initiative QA support, coordinating E2E testing, addressing issues, testing status reports, risk management and communication between developers, clients, and management

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience
• Hands on experience with Java/Selenium automation scripting
• Able to create automated scripts from scratch and update existing ones
• API Testing - Hands on experience with rest services testing
• Experience using TestNg in automation framework
• Able to query the data from Oracle and DB2
• Hands on experience with Mongo Database
• SQL knowledge

Desired skills

• Experience in validating mainframe jobs and stored procedure
• Skilled with backend testing dealing with files
• Capable of analyzing failures by referring to logs on the Windows server and Splunk
• Experience working within an agile development process (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) from the test design, test automation, and execution perspective
• Quick learner who can grasp various complexities of the requirements and systems being supported
• Demonstrated flexibility for operating and delivering results in a dynamic and complex environment
• Capable of owning work and coordinating end to end, including closing out issues, managing risk, providing accurate status, and communicating with clients, partners and management

Pay range

$50.45 - $58.45
