Overview

Job Description Utilizing the testing methodology, applies specialization to develop a Test Plan for a test level to be executed for a project, as specified in the Testing Strategy for the project.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Test Plan for a test level in accordance with the project Testing Strategy.
• Execute test cases and track defects.
• Analyze requirements and design documents to write test cases.
• Identify, report, and help resolve defects with the functional team.
• Document test results and reports in the approved templates; coordinate with the client for result approvals.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience in Manual/Functional testing; Healthcare and Medicaid testing preferred.
• SQL, ALM (preferred), Defect Management.
• Ability to write Test Plans and Test Cases; execute test cases and track defects.
• Verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• ADDITIONAL NOTES: Should have at least 3 to 4 years of testing experience in UAT testing.
• Need to have good communication skills and this role interacts with the client daily.
• Need to be able to work under pressure with short timelines and strict deadlines.
• Nice to have: SQL Skills and ALM knowledge.
• Need to know how to analyze requirements, design documents, write test cases, execute test cases, identify defects, report on defects, work with the functional team for the resolution of the defects, document reports in the approved templates, and work with the client on getting the results approved.
