Title: Data QA Tester

Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid)

Type: Contract

Job Duties:

• Perform end-to-end testing of web-based financial applications, ensuring the functionality, usability, and performance of Revenue Dashboards, P&L reports, and other financial tools.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans for both manual and automated testing scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Conduct UI testing to ensure a seamless user experience across multiple browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Implement and maintain automation testing frameworks, scripts, and tools to streamline testing processes.
• Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial datasets and systems.
• Provide regular test reports and updates to project teams and senior management.
  
  

Minimum Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a QA Tester in the finance domain, with hands-on involvement in web-based UI testing and data validation.
• Familiarity with testing financial systems, specifically Revenue Dashboards and P&L attribution reports.
• Expertise in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis for validating financial datasets.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Certification in software testing is a plus.
