This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of VetsEZ. We are currently looking for an Automation Tester in Austin, TX. Fully remote within the continental U.S., this role involves working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to validate deliverables and enhance data-driven decision-making.

You will design and execute test plans, perform both manual and automated testing, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. The role offers opportunities to work with advanced analytics, AI solutions, and innovative technologies that improve operational efficiency and the end-user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed reviews and validations of deliverables across analytics, data engineering, UX, and reporting workstreams to ensure quality and compliance
  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functionality, performance, and reliability
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and optimization opportunities
  • Document results, track defects, and communicate findings to development teams and stakeholders for timely resolution
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, business analysts, and UX specialists to validate requirements and provide actionable feedback
  • Establish and refine QA processes, methodologies, and tools to drive efficiency and consistency in testing
  • Recommend enhancements to QA practices to strengthen the quality of deliverables
  • Support team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor\'s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
  • 6+ years of professional experience, including at least 1 year in QA testing focused on analytics, data science, or software development
  • 1+ years of experience in consulting environments is preferred
  • Proficiency with QA tools such as Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail
  • Familiarity with data analytics and engineering tools (SQL, Python)
  • Strong knowledge of manual, automated, regression, and performance testing methodologies
  • Understanding of advanced analytics, data science, or machine learning testing concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and effective written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust clearance
  • Prior experience with federal government or healthcare environments is a plus
