Location: Newburyport, MA

Pay: $19.50 – $26.40/hour (depending on shift & experience)

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Overview

We are seeking motivated Electronic Testers to join our production test floor team. In this role, you will perform electrical testing of semiconductors using both manual and automated equipment. You will work with electro-mechanical handlers, follow detailed work instructions, and ensure compliance with product requirements and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate test equipment to perform electrical testing of semiconductors.
• Conduct counting and visual inspections of devices.
• Assist in completing engineering work orders.
• Accurately record pass/fail parameters in Camstar (REI’s internal system).
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; refill nitrogen tanks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred (semiconductors, microscopes, or lab environment).
• Familiarity with hand tools; strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to interpret test results.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to read and write English and perform basic math.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Fast-paced production environment with loud background noise.
• Requires close visual inspection, color vision, and attention to detail.
• Standing for long periods (up to 5–6 hours without a break).
• Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs; occasional handling of heavier machinery.
• Exposure to hot/cold temperatures and repetitive hand use.
