Description

We are looking for a skilled Manual Quality Assurance Tester to join our team on a contract to hire basis in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will play an integral part in ensuring the quality of software across web, iOS, and Android platforms by performing detailed manual testing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining high standards of quality in a fast-paced, hi-tech engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive test plans to ensure software functionality and performance.

Perform manual testing using emulators and real devices to identify bugs and verify fixes.

Manage and assign Jira tickets, ensuring workflows are streamlined and processes are followed.

Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and strategists to uphold quality standards across multiple projects.

Conduct thorough testing for web, iOS, and Android applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

Analyze test results and communicate findings effectively to relevant stakeholders.

Provide input on improving the testing process and tools to enhance overall efficiency.

Support hybrid work schedules by coordinating testing both remotely and on-site when required.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years' experience in manual QA testing.

Proficiency in using Jira for ticket management and workflow updates.

Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and related terminology.

Experience using emulators for mobile testing.

Familiarity with Selenium for web browser automation.

Knowledge of Zendesk and its application in quality assurance.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Excellent analytical and communication skills for detailed reporting and issue resolution.
