Job Opportunity: Data Collection Driver

Location: Redwood City/Bay Area

Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00 USD per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Travel & Training Schedule (required). Company covers lodging and per diem.

Role Overview

The role is pivotal in industries that rely on real-world information gathering to inform decisions, optimize operations, and develop new technologies. This position involves the systematic and accurate acquisition of data from various environments, often utilizing specialized equipment and following precise protocols.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-provided vehicle to support mapping and video recording projects.
• Operate the vehicle safely for 8–10 hours per day, including during night shifts.
• Record and map specified locations according to instructions.
• Manage, organize, and securely handle collected data each shift.
• Monitor data collection and provide accurate reports throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Driving experience in a commercial field (e.g., Uber, Lyft, delivery, or similar).
• Clean/excellent driving record.
• Pass a background check, MVR check, and drug screen.
• Experience with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) or Autonomous Vehicle (AV) technology is a plus, but not required.
• Basic familiarity with managing digital files or data storage systems is a plus.
