Job: QA Tester
Reporting To: Program Manager
Location: Bangalore India
Responsibilities
- Test and retest reported defects in timely manner.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Create defect logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Conduct release / post implementation testing.
- Work with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle.
- Write and analyze test reports.
- Produce the Test Summary Report after exit criteria have been met.
- Attend regular status meetings with the QA and project management teams.
- Assist with driving accountability to planned dates, creating and maintaining schedules in collaboration with System Integrators, 3rd party vendors & relevant stakeholders.
- Organize & support project team meetings including setting up meeting rooms, assisting with travel logistics, preparing meeting materials, capturing meeting minutes & managing recordings
- Help administer Project TeamSite's & shared project team repositories (SharePoint, Teams, Mailboxes)
Qualifications
- Must have 3+ years of relevant experience in testing and supporting Oracle Cloud ERP, in one or more of the following: Master Data, Supply Chain, Finance; particular knowledge of Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Customer Billing, or any other Quote-to-cash functions is a plus
- Must have experience in Testing processes and best practices (Test case creation, JIRA for test results and defect tracking, etc.) – Mandatory to have
- Previous experience with testing and implementing cloud-based solutions or familiar with the concepts of cloud-based architecture and its implementation
- Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally
- Proven ability to quickly build relationships and earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders
- Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
- Ability to execute with limited information and ambiguity
- Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively
- Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs.
- Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management tools Experience with understanding various software development methodologies including Agile/Scrum
- Good working knowledge of SDLC
- Able to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
